What we do
CrowdSec is a cybersecurity product with a human-sized team of experts in their fields. We have worked remotely since day one. Our open source software is used in over 185 countries worldwide by tens of thousands of users, and we intend to bring millions more onboard to help us outnumber cybercriminals all together.
Our mission is to deter opportunist and organized cybercrime, through an internet-scale, real-time, security network. This network is powered by tens of thousands of users, sharing with one another aggressive IPs they blocked using our open source software. By coupling this local behavior analysis and sharing its findings within our community, we create a crowdsourced Cyber Threat Intelligence solution of unprecedented magnitude, that will counter the vast majority of technical hacks.
Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will work with our fast-growing marketing and sales team to help scale, create, and interact with new contacts, generating new business opportunities by qualifying marketing leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with potential customers. You will leverage your ability to be outgoing, social, and network effectively in any environment. This will be done in close collaboration with the Marketing and Support teams to ensure the most pleasant and seamless customer journey.
Job requirements
Must-have
A track record of success in developing business opportunities in the cybersecurity software sector
Entrepreneurial mindset and understanding of the ecosystem we live in
Experience overseeing the entire sales process from prospect to customer
Experience with sales methodologies like BANT
Cold Calling Experience
Experience creating contact lists
Driving attendance to CrowdSec-hosted user events
Fluency in English is essential, a 2nd language is mandatory (French, German, or Spanish)
Experience working with at least one of the following sectors: Financial, Insurance, eCommerce, PSPs, Cybersecurity, Open Source Software

Knowledge of the open-software landscape
Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape
Start-up experience
Experience with Hubspot
Soft Skills
You are a confident and polished communicator who is able to build strong and lasting relationships
Even if not experienced, you are interested in the cybersecurity industry
You are autonomous, do not hesitate to share new ideas with the team, and are genuinely interested in learning your customer's needs
Ability to work remotely provided you are +/- 4h from CEST
